ITS Client Support is responsible for the functioning and maintenance of the audio visual equipment in the timetabled teaching rooms and lecture theatres.
If you wish to provide feedback about the teaching rooms or need advice about the equipment, you should contact the ITS Service Desk on extension 4008, or email them at firstname.lastname@example.org.
It is very important that all University teaching staff visit their scheduled teaching rooms well before they are due to teach. The purpose of the visit is to make sure they are familiar with the AV equipment in that room, and that it meets their teaching needs. It is not always possible to provide support for teaching staff at the last minute, so please be prepared.
Client Support provides training for the AV equipment at scheduled times. Please contact the Service Desk for information.
To book a teaching room online please use the Timetable Room Bookings form. Please allow 48 hours for confirmation of your booking. All enquiries about booking teaching rooms need to be directed at the SASD Timetable Department at email@example.com
All major teaching rooms have a telephone in them that you can ring the “Hotline”. The hotline is in case teaching staff have problems with the technology during their classes. Please ring 6066 This is given immediate priority.
If you bring your laptop to use in a teaching room see here for the required settings.
